Outdoor, marquee and venue set-ups
We set up indoors and out: in function rooms and halls, in marquees, and on lawns, gravel, paving and courtyards. A few details help us plan the install.
What we need to know
- The surface. Grass, gravel, paving or a venue floor. On lawns and in marquees we lay underlay and level the floor, and we check the ground before we start.
- Access. How we get from the truck to the set-up spot: gates, steps, paths and any distance to carry. We need safe access for delivery, installation and removal.
- Timing. Your start and finish times, and any venue rules on bump-in and bump-out. Delivery, set-up and pack-down times are agreed when you book. Set-up or pack-down between 8pm and 7am attracts an after-hours fee (see our hire conditions).
- Venue rules. If the venue has floor-protection rules, tell us and we'll plan around them.
- Weather. For outdoor events, plan weather protection such as a marquee. Tell us what's planned.
